Meet the FounderI founded Hawn Holdings after eight years in SME corporate finance — advising on numerous transactions for vendors at a leading independent M&A advisory firm, spanning multiple sectors and buyer types.
In that time, I came to know the sell-side of a business transaction intimately. Not just the financials but the human side — the sleepless nights, the loyalty to long-serving staff, the reluctance to hand over something that had defined a life's work.
Too often, I watched the available buyers fail to meet that need. Trade buyers absorbed businesses into larger machines and their way of working. Private equity set exit clocks from day one. The market was missing something: a buyer who genuinely intended to keep what they acquired — to protect it, grow it and honour the legacy behind it.
That's why I founded Hawn Holdings. Not to acquire businesses and move on but to find exceptional companies and become their permanent home.
